2DayFM presenters Michael Christian and Mel Greig, the pair behind the infamous royalty prank call, have spoken of their anguish to A Current Affair’s Tracy Grimshaw and Today Tonight’s Clare Brady.
After the nurse who took the call, Jacintha Saldanha, was found dead in a suspected suicide, the duo have been at the centre of a global hate campaign calling for their dismissal.
Greig and Christian have been silent up until today, when they recorded interviews with the rival programs.
Grimshaw stressed via Twitter that they were not paid for the interviews.
The pair’s comment comes as PR and crisis management experts told B&T to give them their chance to speak.
