Naked Communications has moved swiftly to replace Louise Pogmore appointing Hausmann’s Catherine Donnelly as the new head of PR for its Sydney office.
Yesterday it was revealed Pogmore has moved to create a PR offering for creative agency The Hallway.
Donnelly has more than 12 years experience in PR and has worked on brands including Tourism Australia, Xbox, and Vodafone, and was heading up the Sony account for Hausmann, where she worked alongside Naked.
She said: “After so many years in PR, I craved working in a non-traditional environment and with people who are wired differently to us PR folk.
“Working with Naked on Sony was one of the highlights of my last role so the opportunity to collaborate with the brilliant minds and brands there was completely irresistible.
“PR has changed and no longer functions on its own or in a purely traditional sense so Naked’s fully integrated offer and rejection of silos makes sense. I haven’t been this excited in years.”
Naked Chairman ANZ, Mike Wilson, added: “We’re lucky to have worked with Catherine on the Sony business, so we know we’re getting the best.
“We are definitely looking forward to accelerating the growth of this part of the agency under Catherine’s leadership.”
